Sports Therapist BSC (HONS)
I have always been drawn to the way the human body moves and recovers. With my background of Trampolining
and coaching , I was able to witness the body’s capabilities through movement whilst understanding the forces and physical strains put upon athletes and their joints, leading me to gain further awareness within this field.
Sports therapy captured my attention because it combined my love for sport with a passion for helping others heal and perform at their best. There’s something incredibly rewarding about assisting someone with their aches and pains seeing their confidence return and knowing I played a part in that journey.
I graduated a Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation degree from The University of Derby in 2024, during this time a trip to the defence medical rehabilitation centre was offered to me which is where I ultimately become inspired with the rehabilitation techniques and different forms of physical therapy that are available for patients. This allowed me to further my knowledge and explore other paths for helping patients with their injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
What I love most about sports therapy is that it’s never just physical—it’s emotional and mental too. People often come in feeling defeated and frustrated, but through consistent work and encouragement, I get to witness their transformation firsthand. Every story is different, and that ensures that everyone gets personalised guidance. This keeps me learning, growing, and adapting within the field. This allows me to blend science, movement, and empathy into something that truly makes a difference in people’s lives and that’s what makes me passionate about it every single day!
