Chiropractic became a pivotal point in my life from a young age.
At 16 I hurt myself badly whilst deadlifting without any knowledge of how to do so correctly. As a result I spent the next 3 years in daily pain. After exhausting all other means of care provided by the NHS and self-help videos on youtube I was desperate for a solution. It was at this point that I saw a chiropractor. It was to my amazement that after a thorough examination and then a treatment I got up off of the bench and felt instant relief from the pain and discomfort I had come to accept as a part of my daily life.
I could not understand how something that had troubled me for so long could be addressed so quickly and so was instantly fascinated about this alternative means of treatment. This led me to studying chiropractic at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. I have a particular interest in the treatment of gym-related injuries as well as coaching patients through proper technique and execution of more complicated movements in order to build confidence as well as focussing on prevention and management for this particular cause of pain.
